Role Overview

The Sales Manager role is a high-performance, critical role within the organisation that will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The sales manager’s responsibilities include developing key growth pipeline, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these personal plans is required to achieve your financial targets.


Roles & Responsibilities:

· Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned segments and accounts.

· Work directly with the Sales team to develop and execute our pipeline plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.

· Management of personal deals pipeline, forecasting, and sales updates with high accuracy.

· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

· Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

· Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

· Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.

· Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.

· Highly numerate - this is a commercial role; you must be comfortable in a spreadsheet and a beautifully constructed P&L.

· Goal chaser - as a growth business, you’re hungry to set and breakthrough targets. You thrive in this type of environment.

· Superior negotiator - You can demonstrate excellent active listening, probing questioning, and deal closing and impart this knowledge to your team.

· Polished presenter - You can command a crowd on a conference stage or within a customer's meeting room.


Qualifications & Skills:

· Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding sales targets

· Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager

· Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level

· Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

· Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services

· Proven ability to position products against competitors

· Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· BA/BS degree or equivalent.
