Mechanical Engineer

Yenimahalle, Ankara
Work Type: Full Time
Who We Are

OPLOG is the tech engine behind seamless e‑commerce fulfillment for top brands across Türkiye, Europe, and the US. By fusing in‑house software with robotics and automation, we erase the line between the physical and digital worlds—delivering post‑purchase experiences that turn customers into fans and giving our clients an unfair competitive edge.
We're building a world-class robotic fulfillment ecosystem, and we're looking for curious minds to shape the future with us.

About the Role
We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Robotics & Automation team, based at our Ostim facility in Ankara. In this role, you'll design and develop the mechanical systems that power our robotic fulfillment infrastructure — from initial concept through prototyping to serial production. Working closely with our manufacturing teams and suppliers, you'll turn ideas into production-ready designs that keep our operations running at peak performance. If you thrive at the intersection of precision engineering and hands-on manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare 2D/3D technical drawings of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems
  • Create part and assembly designs using CAD software
  • Produce technical documentation in compliance with tolerance analysis, GD&T, and relevant standards (ISO, DIN, TS)
  • Develop designs with consideration for manufacturing processes (CNC, welding, sheet metal, casting, etc.)
  • Coordinate with production lines and workshops to monitor manufacturing processes
  • Take an active role in prototyping, serial production, and revision processes
  • Manage technical communication with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Contribute to material selection and cost optimisation efforts
  • Support quality control processes, including measurement and verification activities
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in technical drawing and manufacturing
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
  • Strong command of 2D technical drawing standards (ISO 2768, ISO 1101, etc.)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as CNC, turning, milling, welding, pressing, and sheet metal processing
  • Materials knowledge: steel, aluminium, stainless steel, etc.
  • Experience with ERP/PDM systems is a plus
